Freue mich!

you didn’t used to be like this…

You’re a smart person who constantly juggles a dozen balls but you’re finding yourself overwhelmed of late.

You feel frustrated with life – how did it get so complicated?  You didn’t used to be this anxious and oh so tired.  You feel like you’re treading water or stuck in a stagnant place.

And why do you keep beating yourself up for things you just can’t seem to change?  You’re never really good enough lately, so you tell yourself, and you feel like everyone else thinks so too.  And then there’s the negative self-talk…

You want to get and on with your wonderful life, right?  But will-power alone just doesn’t seem to work (and you’d know because you have tons of it!)

Of course, you’ve tried many different things – counselling (sometimes for years on end), talking to friends, reading books, yoga – but nothing gets you back on track long term.  Nothing really even scratches the surface!

So you slip back into to your old ways of thinking, old habits, old destructive behaviour, old patterns of sabotage.  Like they’ve been programmed into your brain from birth.  Maybe you weren’t meant to be any different and should just accept the way you are?

But that’s not you.  You don’t give up.  You’re a fighter.  You want to take back control of your life.  But if only you knew how!

And you know what?  You’re not alone – most of my clients are going through exactly the same as me.

Or rather, the old me.

You see, I was once in a dark place, not knowing how to get out of the rabbit hole, thinking that “this is just the way I am” and not liking me very much.

I tried it all (self-help books, counselling, yoga, meditation, running, running away, mindfulness, diets, you name it).  Some things helped for a while but nothing stuck.

Until I discovered hypnosis.

Through hypnosis, I learned to understand where my old patterns of behaviour and thinking, blocks and bad habits came from.

And then I could change them.  Finding self-love in the process.

I’m not perfect yet – ha ha! – but the good news is that I’m now happy with myself just the way I am – and it feels so good!

Let’s work together to find your own way to confidence and resilience.  Ease and joy.  Lightness and energy.  Self-love.  Let go of the baggage and embrace the freedom.

I discovered hypnosis for myself in 2011 when trying to lose weight after the birth of my second son.

I’d already lost 20 pounds after the birth of my first son but had put it all back on again.  It was so frustrating.  After all, I do in fact have the willpower of an ox (just ask my husband!) but I just couldn’t control my comfort eating.

Hypnosis helped me to unlock the reasons why I comfort ate. This allowed me to choose new healthy ways to deal with my emotions instead of eating to smother them.

Because the secret to hypnosis is that it taps into your subconscious mind while you are in a trance (profoundly relaxed).

After a number of other personal success with hypnosis, I decided that THIS is my calling.  I wanted to help as many people as possible find the peace of mind that I’ve found.

And I wanted to learn to do this from the best, so I trained in Transforming Therapy™ with master hypnotherapist and teacher, Dr John Butler, at his institute, HTI, in London.  He, in turn, learned and later worked closely with the great master himself, Gil Boyne, who developed Transforming Therapy™ (the “People’s Therapy”) in the 1960s.

Since then, I have been helping many people on their journey to self-discovery, self-mastery, and self-love.

Hi, I’m Suzanne, a 70s child, and originally from London, UK.

However, I’ve lived in Germany for over 20 years.  I moved here after studying history and German at Middlesex University, UK.

I have a career background as a long-time Business English coach – I love working directly with and for people (I’m a strong connector and relator) – and have done various office-type jobs too, such as bank clerk, translator, office manager and export manager (that’s the organised, disciplined and consistent side of me).

I live with my German husband, our two sons and a miniature schnauzer, Bonito, in a small city called Kassel.  We live a typical German life but I speak English to the kids, drink litres of tea with milk and eat Marmite on toast, so I haven’t forgotten my roots!

I am very active in the international community here and love to get together with my English-speaking girlfriends and sometimes with our families too.   I also have a lot of German friends who, along with my family, give me roots in this still sometimes foreign culture, lol!

In my free-time, I love to read chick-lit and self-help books, do dressmaking, go out for walks with our dog, go running, and practice self-hypnosis.  I’d love to do more than just dabble in kundalini yoga, but haven’t taken the time yet.

Oh, and I’m a secret disco queen (if not so secret amongst my friends).  I love dancing my socks off – anything funky with a good beat and bassline.

Let me help you on your journey of personal development to also find confidence, clarity, and calmness.

Happiness is not something readymade.

It comes from your own actions.”

Here’s what happy clients say

After moving to Germany I became withdrawn, depressed and full of anxiety. I just stayed at home and wasn’t open to meeting new people.
However, right from the first session with Suzanne, I haven’t had any panic attacks and I’ve been really optimistic and hopeful for the future. This is really big because I had felt so lost and hopeless. Now I’m a lot more open to meeting new people and new experiences. I feel confident and I’ve easily made friends.

After two sessions on weight control: “Great news! I wore a dress today that I could not previously fit in.  Woohoo!” (Three weeks later and no additional sessions): “Down another 8lb!”
